Elemental Echoes is an experimental sound composition structured into two distinct segments. The composition aims to understand the relationship between inhabitants in Los Angeles and their connection with nature, with a specific focus on the Angeles National Forest. It also sheds light on the recent surge of wildfires in the area over the past three years, while also positioning poetry as a foundational method for my ethnographic research practice.

Plantasy
is me daydreaming about plants:
leaves that hug me at night,
sunburned stems,
and fruits that nourish me in the morning.
It exudes pathos—an emotional connection.
It's also a representation,
an image,
desire,
a map,
movement,
a seed,
passion,
a space,
memory,
a dream,
It acts
as the petiole of my creativity,
guiding me toward the moon.
It is the root of my inner self,
language, and semiotics.
A drive, a dive.
